Simon said it’s the best audition ever: Little girl Shocks ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with Stunning Performance

An emotional letter from Olivia Lynes’s mother to “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Amanda Holden propelled the eleven-year-old singer to fame on the show. Olivia’s mother penned a letter to Amanda in which she proclaimed her daughter deserved a shot at stardom because of her remarkable voice.

Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth’s “Defying Gravity” is a hit, and Olivia, who was nervous about performing it, stepped on to the stage anyhow. Her mom was so distraught that she started crying before Olivia even started.

Olivia began her tiny performance with a few songs. But as the song was progressing, an unforeseen event occurred. She captivated the entire audience with her soaring voice. Midway through the song, the audience was on their feet, dumbfounded at what they were hearing.

Everyone in the audience and among the judges went into a standing ovation as soon as Olivia ended. Her moving performance moved two of the judges to tears. Olivia was whisked away to the live shows as Amanda Holden silently pressed the golden buzzer.

Tears were expected to flow during the emotionally charged moment, so viewers were advised to bring tissues. The little singer’s stunning debut on “Britain’s Got Talent” was solidified when Amanda stepped on stage and gave Olivia a big hug.
